About Us

We're Head 2 Toe Salon, and we've been a leading beauty salon here in Jacksonville, FL since 2020. We are committed to providing our clients with exceptional service in a comfortable environment. We have a wide variety of hair care services such as keratin treatments, women’s cuts and styles, men’s cuts and styles, blowouts, keratin smoothing treatments, manicures, and pedicures. We're looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. Our Story

At Head 2 Toes Salon, we believe that beauty is personal and every guest deserves a tailored experience that reflects their individuality. Founded in 2020 by Carl, a seasoned salon owner with over 30 years of expertise, our salon was built on the foundation of passion, knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Carl’s journey into the beauty industry began in high school when skill centers offered opportunities to explore trades like cosmetology. His early exposure to hair care sparked a lifelong passion. After high school, Carl served in the Navy and later pursued a career as a nightclub DJ. However, his true calling always remained in the world of hairstyling, leading him back to the salon industry. In 2000, Carl opened his first salon, laying the groundwork for what would eventually become Head 2 Toes Salon.

Today, Head 2 Toes Salon is a boutique-style salon run by Carl and a part-time receptionist. Carl focuses on all color services, bringing artistry and precision to each client’s hair transformation. Our goal at Head 2 Toes Salon is to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where clients feel like family.

What sets Head 2 Toes Salon apart is Carl’s wealth of experience and dedication to client care. With a history of owning two successful salons and one spa, including the renowned Beau Monde—a six-time honoree on Salon Today’s Top 200 list—Carl brings a level of expertise that is unmatched in the industry. His extensive education includes training with top brands like Bumble and bumble, Aveda, Framesi, Eminence Organics, and Goldwell. As a former trainer for Framesi and Goldwell, and Lead Trainer for his own salon team, Carl has mentored some of today’s top talent in the beauty industry.
